About Us

Our Mission

FreeFORM Technologies is a company of engineers, for engineers. The company was formed to bring freedom of design to the customer and change conventional thinking of manufacturing. We are committed to providing world-class engineering and manufacturing services to the customer while providing low cost of ownership and speed to market. At FreeFORM, the customer will always be first.

Our manufacturing facility is located in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania.

Our Vision

Long before it was a company, FreeFORM was an idea. For decades, engineering and design have been boxed in by traditional manufacturing constraints—machine capabilities, but status quo thinking as well. 3D printing has the potential to change all that, but only if we embrace new paradigms and start asking, “What else is possible?”

The inspiration behind FreeFORM started over a decade ago, but our team members were all in different stages of life, as were the technologies we wanted to employ. FreeFORM was born to drive these technologies to the masses for adoption. At FreeFORM, our vision is to be the benchmark for additive manufacturing.

Nate Higgins, President

The process of taking a concept and developing a path from prototyping to mass commercialization has always intrigued and frustrated Nate. His first company struggled with this exact issue, as the unique application they developed could not be manufactured with traditional manufacturing methods and that’s when Nate’s love for 3D printing grew.  Successfully launching and scaling two companies, a start-up focused on a patented product and a green field metal injection molding operation, Nate is now tackling his real passion: streamlining the product development lifecycle and being a resource for other entrepreneurs, engineers, and large corporations unable to efficiently innovate, manufacture, or commercialize their products.

Chris Aiello, VP of Business Development

Chris is an entrepreneur and salesman at heart. From painting houses and mowing grass for his mom’s real estate business to turning around a metal injection molding acquisition for a global powdered metal company, Chris understands the importance of the customer. Product development cycles and product life cycles are changing, and FreeFORM strives to support that entire curve with our technologies. Chris is the customer’s voice inside of FreeFORM, here to make sure your expectations align with FreeFORM’s reality.
